Grandma’s Graphics expanding

As some of you may know I have a very successful website called Grandma’s Graphics on which I feature images culled from various books published in the 19th and early 20th century.

Grandma’s Graphics

To support that website I’ve been using the CafePress print-on-demand (POD) service for several years. I take one of the images, photoshop it a bit and upload it to CP where it appears on tees, hats, mugs, journals, etc., which the public can then buy.

With the demise of one of my biggest clients (see this post) I decided it was time to kick into high gear and expand my POD services. For the past few weeks I’ve been stuck close to this computer as I’ve worked on my product line with Printfection and Zazzle.

Using Printfection I am finally able to offer my double image Through the Looking Glass shirts in black!

Have a look at Grandma’s Graphics Printfection store.

I’ve also been having a bit of fun creating Shoes and Ties at Zazzle. (I’m already thinking about Harry Clarke images on ties and shoes for Halloween!)

Check out the store at Grandma’s Graphics Zazzle.

Remembering: Brooklyn College Spring 1968

Photos

It looks like they’ve paved the little plot of grass where a lot of these photos were taken.

Another chapter closed. Time for something new.

For the past 4 years I have been working on a business idea with some people. Today I decided I had had enough as I could see conclusively that it was going nowhere. Time to move on and do other things.

So universe, I’m open to whatever you have in store for me next.

Unfortunately, this whole episode has left another layer of armour around my being. It’s not very easy to let anyone in anymore.

Brain thinks faster than I can get to a computer

Quite a few times this week I thought of interesting things to write, but by the time I found a moment to sit down, the thought was gone. And now of course I’m sitting here thinking blah, blah, blah.

The sun is about to set behind the mountain. The temp on my patio is 38C. It’s cooler in here. I should probably go for a walk, or do some yoga stretches, but I won’t. Procrastination is easier.

I have a whole pile of photos from 40 years ago to scan and post here. This week. I promise. Unless I have to go to New Jersey. Or unless playing in Second Life is more fun.

Brain fog

What does fibromyalgia brain fog feel like?…….

What does fibromyalgia brain fog feel like?…….

What does…..

Huh? I feel like a kid with ADD.

Reading: I get stuck reading the same paragraph over. And it doesn’t make any sense. I either go to sleep or get up and do something else.

Multitasking: Can’t. Driving is difficult with passengers. Especially can’t have music on. Talk radio is even worse.

When I’m not in a bad fibro flare, I can do as well as any other 60 year old with my daily tasks. In fact better, most of the time, considering that I’m juggling grandkids and a business.

That fibro thing again — more

Okay, it’s several hours later and I have tried really hard to figure out some other things in WP, but gave up. I hate BrainFog. I even tried to do some work in the Downs in Caledon, but only got as far as buying my supplies before my brain refused to cooperate.

That fibro thing again

After everyone went home around 3pm I had a shower and crawled into bed. Awoke 90 minutes later and everything hurt. Fibro crash.

Now I’m trying to ignore the pain and learn some more about Wordpress.

WordPress yet again…

Yet again I am trying to learn WordPress. I think it could be another great tool to use in my web design toolbox. I’ve gotten further with it this time than I have before.
